It feels a bit like bullying to me.
Live and let live I say.

I like carbonated water unflavoured, or if still water then a hint of lemon. "Cool, clear water" is that welcome break from varioius other hot or cold drinks as the day progresses.

The only thing I like with water is whisky.
Re: Flavored Waters, Sparkling & Still ..
Sorry to interrupt your jovial flow, KK...
Oh dear, this thread has brought some problems to the forefront.
I'm sorry Lush, but your niggling putdowns of Member 461 have been relentless. I'm leaving this thread intact, but any future pointed and acidic comments will be removed. Please remember that there are cultural and language differences involved with the posts that upset you, I don't think deliberate offence is intended.
Member 461, please try and make your points in a single post, earlier in this thread you've made four posts in a row for no obvious reason, it disrupts and dominates the thread. Also there is no need to thank contributors for feedback every single time anyone responds to your posts - think of a thread as a group conversation, with a natural flow, you do not need to keep thanking people for answering posts, that is the whole reason we are here.
Let's put this aside, and carry on with the topic of this thread. If anyone has any other points to make on the moderation issues, please use the "Administration" board.

Well said Sakkarin . It’s mice to have a positive atmosphere in here and also at the same time , if you see a post with lots of replies that piques and the majority are from one person, it can be misleading .

Thumbs up , Sakks!
The best way to respond to a post which irritates you, for any reason, is simply to ignore it. Don´t answer. Turn the page. Go and do something else. Forget it.
Now back to this water and whisky thing....

Clive, you'd better not ask for water if you have whisky in this house, though of course, as a guest, you would get it! If its a bourbon you may have ice

If I fancy a whisky in the pub I take it with soda but no ice.
If I drink one at home it's a sensible measure and I take it neat.

In my misspent youth I dated a whisky broker
When tasting to sell or buy always taken about 60:40 whisky to Malvern water, because 40% alcohol is enough to reduce your ability to detect the nuances of flavour

I believe I read somewhere that Princess Margaret's tipple was whisky and Malvern water.
Apparently it made her cross when people assumed she was a gin drinker.

Not whisky, but I always take water with a breakfast orange juice - either freshly squeezed or in a carton.
My whisky drinkin' days are long gone, after I woke up in a bath with blankets round me, in Oxton, the Borders.
Shame I ruined myself for it, as Scotland has some unbelievably great ole bottles.

I remember the General Manager of Laphroaig explaining how to drink whisky. He served us all a wee dram, neat, and then said " If you find it too strong, you could always break it with a drop of water". He then proceeded to add about 6 drops to the dram.

Point taken Sakks! I trust the point will be taken in Catalan as well.
Re. whisky - now you're talking my language!
Neat every time - add water? - Never!!!!!!!! Tastes horrible - you may as well add coke to it & stick an umbrella in it

There is an Isle of Skye company which makes both single malt and blended but the best is Tallisker Skye - one of M's favourites. I don't appreaciate single malt really so I leave it for him.
I prefer rum with my coke, unless it's really fine rum then I drink it neat or with ice, as recommended by KK.
