Smoked mackerel pate and cherry toms, cu, red onion salsa thingy for tea, Yes, bap too, sold as oven bottom muffins that're great if heat blasted in the halogen fishbowl for a minute or two.

Still trying to think what halfateabag's London slice might be. Can't be savoury if eaten after F&C so I'm thinking a custard slice but filled with creme pat, as set custard ones don't exist here (and I've lived here for year or two).

Lunch was simple and delicious.
Couscous with cucumber, red onion radishes, olives, ham, parmesan and olive oil.

Tonight is cold pork with new potatoes and salad.

We just had Tesco's stone baked Margerita pizza (half price atm!) with added chargrilled artichokes and green salad with more artichokes and lots of fresh thyme off the massive supermarket pot.
I can't remember when we last had pizza and it really felt like a treat!

I often buy Asda ready rolled dough, it's the only supermarket I know that sell it and then I make a cheats "homemade" pizza.
Always with anchovies and olives, my favourites.

I just made a sort of hash. Salad potatoes, peas, halloumi, fresh herbs from the garden - thyme, marjoram and sage - garlic, chipotle chilli flakes, smoked paprika and plenty of black pepper. Fried egg on top.

My closest Tesco don't have dough, I've not been able to get a delivery slot from them at all during this either which is a shame because they have my favourite chilli jelly.
I get Sainsburys once a week as I'm on their priority list, and the occasional Asda.

Yup, agreed about anchovies and olives!
The only pizza dough I've found in Tesco in the past has been a packet of 2 pizza bases, to which you add your own topping.
They were a total failure, small and tough, and a waste of the nice toppings we'd used.
One of those experiments we won't be repeating!

Yes I don’t like the pre bought bases either . Like chewing on pieces of cardboard . I find the dough by the ready made pastry .

A local farm shop has a self service loose item freezer section. A friend noticed they had individual balls of pizza dough, really easy to roll into a circle when thawed. I was a bit dubious as they were snow white in colour. We bought 2 each. Friend now loves them and buys regularly, I hated mine, it didn't resemble bread in any form and struggled to use the second one. I wouldn't buy it again even for GD to cook with.

No worries KeenCook2, we use it quite a bit at work to sometimes make calzones or put toppings on and roll into pinwheels as an alternative for sandwiches for them

I’ve been thinking about making some pizza dough and freezing balls of it, but need to do it on a day when I want to eat pizza and have a little space in the freezer so don’t hold your breath Will go the whole hog and freeze portions of tomato base

I had a takeaway pizza from Franco Manca, was horrible, and why does nobody make a one person size? I don’t want a 12 inch pizza, far too much bread

Last night I had some intentionally leftover rare steak so I made a Thai inspired salad

Due to an excess of asparagus and eggs, lunch will be asparagus soufflé and green salad.

Dinner is an appropriately distanced drinks and nibbles in someone's garden. Delayed from her birthday last week due to the weather.
