Last night was sea bass with baby potatoes, salad and vaguely vierge-y sauce.

Tonight is the other half of Sunday's brisket pot roast, served in giant Yorkshire puds, with sautéed brussels tops.

Carrot and ginger soup is bubbling away for lunch as soon as it's ready.

Tonight will be sausage and mash.
I got some beef and leek sausages from the farm shop.

Yesterday’s supper was a mushroom risotto, followed by poached greengages and yoghurt with a sprinkle of toasted walnut crumbs.
Tonight’s supper will be Shakshuka and toasted sourdough and homemade hummus.

Monday was the leftovers of 3 curries I'd made at the weekend, saag, paneer and butternut squash, Tuesday was bangers and mash, yesterday was roasted cauliflower curry, tonight is chilli and tomorrow will be our Friday night special, veggie burgers, chips, onion rings and coleslaw along with a few beers. No pasta this week, that's a first!

and homemade hummus.

Suffs, have you, or anyone else, successfully frozen homemade hummus please? Ta.

Tonight will be a tuna steak with tablespoon sundried toms and black olives in pan, plus side leeks and carrots with cumin, possibly as a chunky creamed version, and a parbaked mini baguette.

I am sure I have, quite successfully - I had a surfeit as I'd made too much for some guests who didn't make it (in the days when we were still allowed to have friends to dinner!) - so I bunged it in the freezer.

As I recall, it was perfectly fine

Yum!! :yum

We have chicken supremes. I've done the thing where you make a pocket under the skin and fill with a mixture of borsin and soft cheese, then wrap in streaky bacon and roast. I shall serve with a potato & tarragon salad and a tomato/red onion/olive salad.
Food, felines and fells (in no particular order)

I made a Malaysian beef curry yesterday using Mak Tok wonderful chilli paste. I had the leftovers tonight:

Really lovely, Renee. As usual.

And chicken supreme too. Delicious!

How do you prepare your gujerati green beans please, WW?

gujerati green beans

It's a Madhur Jaffrey recipe.
Stir fry them with garlic, chilli and mustard seeds.
Takes less than 10 mins and goes with anything.

I like them with sausages and they are great served cold in a salad.

The gujerati recipe sounds really good. Which green beans do you use?
