That just happens to be one of my favourite meals Suffs..... I have been jealously guarding a big-boy octopus in the freezer to do just exactly that....!

The famous strawberry risotto from MasterChef Oz a few years ago, so arborio rice

Aside from risotto or paella dishes, arborio makes good rice pud - with dulce de leche and vanilla, cinnamon and a halved plum that's soaked up a spot of rum.

Plums stoned and stuffed with MARZIPAN, sprinkled with brown sugar and ground star anise, dotted with butter and then roasted. Serve with cream.

i make 'quick' jam with a packet of frozen strawberries and blueberries, from a supermarket, along with an equal weight (or a bit less) of sugar.
it takes the pain out of prepping the fruit. (i usually use just the frozen strawberries from lidl but they came with blueberries from tesco).
