That sounds delicious.

How about dark chocolate and cherries a la Black Forest Gateau?

I'll have a doggie bag for the whole page, please :D

I add in a piece of fresh turmeric with the spice paste in James Oseland's very aromatic Javanese chicken curry or Opor Ayam which also uses lemongrass

Lamb tagine with apricots.

This used to be a favourite years ago when I ate meat, so then it was tinned apricots and before fancy spices.

equal weights of dark chocolate and double cream, melted together, then chilled to make a rather rich pudding (only small amounts needed - and they freeze well in ramekins).

Slice lengthwise into a crusty BAGUETTE and ‘spread’ the inside surfaces with jammy fig preserve then fill with slices of Reblochon ... cut into generous portions, place on a baking tray and put into hot oven until warmed through and cheese is soft and gooey :yum

That sounds very good - I'll certainly be giving that a try soon. :thumbsup

Baguette sliced up for a Bruschetta & swiped with a goodly amount of ( strong) garlic olive oil & topped with cooked down tomato with basil & melted blue cheese.
