Chowder (if it is not Gmo corn, or any dairy cream and prefer Manhtattan Clam Chowder with tomato base ) pairs nicely with Chapata rustic whole meal bread ..

Hmm. Sweetcorn was the follow-on domino, so if with chapata (I assume a flatbread), I'll go with radishes - as in this corn radish jalapeno lime juice salad

Probably with a stout taste like mackerel, sausage, meaty mushrooms. So, radishes.

Radishes are nice with Water Kress or Cress ..

Marmite and butter on the warm corner crust of a freshly baked white loaf of bread.

A treat from my childhood when the baker in the next village delivered twice a week to the farm where we lived.

The warm corner crust was my childhood treat too Suffs! The baker's shop was around the corner - so the corner 'disappeared' before it got home!

Lush I think it is difficult to pair a whole dish such as mufuletta with anything - except perhaps a shot of bourbon whisky!
