Goats cheese, beetroot and walnuts.
Tee hee, I was thinking exactly that whilst writing, i.e. "Well it's not pommes sarladaises then!" knowing I'd never get away with it but the best I can do being non-meat and non-butter even for fondants. How about "soggy-ish yet crispy spud coins a la jeral"?

Jeral, not using dusk fat means they are not pommes sarladaise you are making but rather more pommes Anna or even Panackerty - though to be authentic that would use beef dripping.

Prawns (Called Langostinos around here) are simply amazingly wonderful when freshly netted.
Prawns grilled & flambéed with Jerez de La Frontera Brandy, & to dip lightly with Ali Oli & / or Romesco.

Fermented black beans are the essential flavouring in Ma Po Tofu, which I will make tomorrow
But we had tofu and it’s not popular hereabouts so they also come up in home style pork with green peppers

Brown rice made as a pilaff with lots of sauteed (browned) mixed mushrooms, sweated onion and garlic, stock. A side dish for chicken/red meat, or enhanced with peppers, sweetcorn etc for a veggie main.
