In my French Saveurs magazine there is a nice barbecue recipe for Travers de porc. Would this be similar to a sheet of spare ribs?

Talking pork ribs, I tried "bacon ribs" the other day from Tesco's hot chicken counter, and they were fab, all the bacony flavour of a bacon hock, but in a finger food format!
