Hello. We now live in Cheshire, so not very exotic any more. However, we like it, despite the weather. We found that we are in what’s known as the Cheshire Gap, which pretty much funnels all the weather from the North Sea into the Midlands, so we get a lot of rain!

It is relaxing to be back somewhere and know that you can go anywhere and be fairly sure you are understanding/being understood, however good one's knowledge of another language it’s easy to miss nuances and subtleties and things can get a bit confused at times, but that sort off added to the fun. We still miss the slight buzz of knowing, when we drive off the Shuttle, that we live there, we are now just visitors.
