Binky, they're posh!
There was a time I could demolish a box of chocs like that, no worries.
Now I'm a one choc gal.

Sorry about your Christmas, Amy.
What went wrong? if you don't mind my asking.

Renee, Tony has tried lots of anti fog products but nothing seems to work (on swimming goggles).
I hope it works on your regular glasses for you.

Oh no that’s fine .. went round my mum and stepdads and she ruined it by being a drunken emotional mess . I ended up cooking the entire dinner and doing all the clearing up after so we’re not really talking now . I’d already had an issue with an ex leaving me with a black eye so not a great end of the year at all . Onwards and upwards for next year hey

I think we could all do with a little love as this strange year comes to an end and so many have stoically faced different kinds of unfamiliar circumstances. Sending good vibes to all, what a lovely kind and caring community this is :newhuggy :newhuggy :newhuggy

That sounds pretty rubbish Amy :newhuggy

Incidentally, you will notice that the little emoticon is called new huggy because the original kissy one was changed for one that is intended to be clearly friendly, consoling, supportive

Enjoy your chocs Binky :) I trust they'll taste as good as they look and we'd better leave some for you!

I do hope you stay well and comfortable in these dreadful times. Passing the longest day in any year is always good as days seem to get brighter, weather permitting. The sky's blue here today and your new extension should be great for watching the new season's growth.

Happy New Year to you both and everyone :wino

thirded
amy, big hug.
half my life ago i realised that if she hadn't been my mother she wouldn't have been in my sphere of friends - and stopped feeling guilt or any need to take the crap. she always used to say that you could choose your friends but were stuck with your family - it worked both ways,

glad he's your ex.

Fourthed and seconded respectively. I've been so lucky with family and relationships that it still surprises me how common the alternative is, though of course it shouldn't. :(
