Dennis, that wasn't me on the video by the way!!! Have a very happy birthday in two weeks time.
Patsy, my present Zumba instructor hasn't played that one, but it was a previous instructor. I reckon I could do that one at home. I've made some really good friends at David Lloyd's gym and most of them are about 30 years younger than me! Age doesn't matter really.

Both my Zumba and Fitsteps instructors have worked at their respective DL gyms .. and I have also made good friends. After our live Fitsteps class on Instagram on Wednesdays at 10, a few of us meet up afterwards on Zoom .. of course in the old days we would go to the pub
That Zumba number has been on the circuit for 10 years now . I fully intend giving it a go in the kitchen where I do my other classes

I've never done Fitsteps Patsy, but we also a a very lively dance class on Tuesday mornings ... think Taylor Swift type music!
After classes, we used to meet up in the lounge/restaurant area for at least an hour and a half.
Re: CHATTERBOX
I might have to try that Renee. I need to exercise more and it looks manageable. Not nearly as well as those ladies though!
Re: CHATTERBOX
I really hope that you do Luca. You can do it at your own level. I love my dance classes, also the machines at the gym. I can go to the gym feeling half dead and have lots of energy later in the day. It makes us feel happy. Gymnasiums are all closed at the moment and I might not go back when they do open, which is age related. I don't want to take any risks at all.

Quite right. That’s the result I’m looking for and will add others to the mix. It’ll be a good break from the computer and I need more energy as then I work better.

Fitsteps was developed from Strictly by Nathalie Lowe and Ian Waite; therefore more ballroom than Zumba which is more latin based , so take your pick Luca ..

Re: CHATTERBOX
Ooh, I see Sakkarin has been busy and now you all know what I look like Of course this might all change in a few weeks when that colour on my hair fades out. I previously had it cut the same week as lockdown started, so it was due another chop. Good job I have done this before when I have been desperate

Will do! Love the hair Patsy.
Re: CHATTERBOX
It's really nice to see you Patsy! I love your hair.
I think that Fitsteps might be a bit slow for me! I will look into it however.
Is that you on your avatar Sakkarin?

Re: CHATTERBOX
Yep, I thought about changing mine Sakkarin to one of me, but although the photo was very small it wasn't small enough. I do like my Lytham windmill avatar, so will leave it for now. You all had a lucky escape!
Re: CHATTERBOX
Hello. Have still been really poorly this last week. My health has deteriorated significantly over the last few months so just doing the bare minimum to get by.
I was referred to a specialist back in January and the appointment was yesterday. Last week I got a call from the hospital who said it would be a consultation over the phone instead. The line was dreadful and whilst the consultant was pleasant he didn’t ask what I would have considered particularly relevant. I did get even more concerned when he asked me what I used to do in my past life???
I am hoping it was somewhere lost in translation.
He has organised some tests but because the line was so bad I have asked him to write to me with instructions as to how to get and use equipment
Had a better night last night. Our friend asked if he could sit in our front garden (obviously obeying the rules) with a glass of something yesterday but I was not up to it so hopefully we can do it today. We sit by the front door and position his chair about three metres away.
Not sure if I mentioned it (the last week has been a bit of a blur) but to add to everything I appear to have developed something akin to sciatica. As I am allergic to most painkillers the new doctor prescribed a massive dose of Gabapentin combined with a large dose of Diazepam to be taken together. I then had a really nasty fall in the bathroom badly injuring my back.
Bob went out and clapped last night whilst I stayed in. He told said neighbour about the Gabapentin and she said he vet had prescribed it for her dog who subsequently collapsed.
My friend takes the stuff successfully but it won’t be used here. I’ll take my chances. I don’t want to go back to the GP unless I have to as I don’t want to come out with more than I bargained with.
Right, after nearly losing moo the other week we have had enough trauma here so will be taking all precautions. If friend does want to come round his chair will be sprayed with antibacterial stuff before being returned to the garden and stored separately.
Stay safe everyone.

Sorry to hear you're poorly JRC
Renee, your windmill has completely disappeared, there's no pic, it just says "User Avatar".
I still have a copy of the windmill here I can upload for you, or if you post the picture you'd like here (or PM it) I can size it and load it for you.

Re: CHATTERBOX
Hope you feel better soon jrc. You've really been through it haven't you? It's all the more difficult I think, to have health issues in the midst of a pandemic. So much more difficult to get things sorted out.

Re: CHATTERBOX
You look after yourself and stay safe jrc. Enjoy relaxing in the garden today.
Might be worth speaking to your GP again on a phone consultation, he/she might be able to prescribe something which suits you and mixes with other medication better - and run through what the consultant said as well (presumably there will be notes against your record).
